Judge M. Allen refused a crown request to suspend Annie Stenbeck's licence for three months, saying she would lose her job and her only livelihood if he did. Stenbeck, 58, expressed deep remorse for the collision with the motorcycle at the intersection of 79th Street and 82nd Avenue on May 5, 2008. Justin Delano, 21, died at the University Hospital on May 15. "I am so very sorry this happened. I pray to God to get through this and for the family to get through it," Stenbeck said in court. In passing sentence, Allen noted Stenbeck had no criminal record and has a long history of community service. She is also very active in her church.
