An electric motor scooter spares not just the environment, but the pocket book, says Debra Vuong and her brother Jim Dumouchel, partners in a new business opened in Murrayville on Saturday.

The two are selling Motorino electric scooters, which are classified as motor-equipped bicycles, and require no licence, and no insurance, said Vuong.

However, the rider must be 16 years of age or older, and bicycle head gear is required by law.
