The roar of motorcycles heralded the arrival in Moose Jaw Sunday of the annual motorcycle ride to benefit breast cancer screening. Ladies of Harley and the Regina chapter of the Harley Owners’ Group (HOG) left Regina at 11:30 a.m. and arrived in Moose Jaw at 12:45 a.m., parading up Main Street to the Western Development Museum. The parade of motorcycles was led by the mobile breast screening bus and breast cancer survivor guests. Participants stopped for a snack at the museum before riding back to Regina where a celebration was held at the Austrian Club. The celebration included live music, a meal and distribution of prizes. A breast cancer survivor also shared her story. This year’s ride included 213 motorcycles, an increase over other years. Between 50 and 60 of those bikes were ridden by Moose Jaw residents.
