West Shore track hosts Island racing Sunday
Top motocross riders will be spitting mud on the West Shore this weekend for the first of two Island Fall Series races on the S-curves behind Western Speedway.
The Sunday event is expected to draw 150 riders from the Island and the Mainland to the 1,200 metre track.
“This will be the biggest motorcycle event in Victoria probably since the 1970s,” said Jeff Evernden, president of the Westshore Motocross Association. “The whole circus is coming to town. This will put us on the map.” To read the rest of the article: http://www.bclocalnews.com/sports/29783084.html
