RIDE 2012 at Winnipeg

The streets in many Canadian cities are groaning. In some cases, they have become the breeding grounds of despair, anger and addiction.

We all want to help, but sometimes the problem seems so enormous. Where do we start?

Ride 2012, a unique way for you to raise money, discover Canada, get fit, and experience the exhilaration of accomplishing a physical feat with a great purpose.  It is a practical way for you to stand up for the marginalized and neglected in this country's inner cities.

We are supporting three key projects in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. This is just the start, as we hope to build on the momentum of Ride 2012 to raise awareness of the needs in other urban communities across the country.

Teams of riders-bicycles and motorcycles-will head east or west from Winnipeg on July 9^th, following General Assembly, making their way to the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Other riders will even join as virtual riders, riding their own routes or on a stationary bicycle.
