WELLAND — Mike Labelle didn't compete in all 14 event on the AMA Pro Flat Track motorcycle racing circuit.
However, the Welland native sure made his presence known when he did. His eighth-place finish in the final point standings was impressive enough to convince a longtime race team owner to sign the 19-year-old as his No. 1 rider for the 2010 season.
