One dead after collision in south Vancouver

A deadly collision at W. 70th Avenue and Heather Street in Vancouver overnight is being investigated.

Vancouver police responded to calls of a motorcycle colliding with a car around 2:30 a.m.

The westbound motorcycle, travelling on W. 70th, crashed into a Honda sedan making a left turn to go north on Heather Street. The rider was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the scene. The man and woman in the Honda were treated in hospital for minor injuries.
