INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Fellsmere, Vero Beach, Okeechobee and Indian River Shores are now allowing “Watch for Motorcycles” signs to be posted throughout their roadways in an effort to promote motorcycle safety and awareness.
It is through the continued efforts of the Abate of Florida Inc. chapter members and their surrounding communities that such proclamations are possible.
Abate of Florida Inc., is a state motorcycle rights organization with a lobbyist in Tallahassee. They are there to protect the rights of all motorcyclists. Some of these rights include safety on the highways and freedom from laws that target only motorcycles.
The group meets the last Wednesday of every month at Marsh Landings, 44 N. Broadway, Fellsmere at 7 p.m.
