A Doggone Affair Pound Rescue Fundraiser March 12, 2011

Hello!!

I am proud to say that I am involved and committed in a Fundraiser for Pound Rescue that rescues animals of all kinds from a life of hardship and/or death. Duke, the doggie in this poster was a rescued dog. He was a totally cool dog and he was my dog Jaxson's, best friend. Duke died suddenly and we miss him terribly. To honour him and where he came from, a bunch of us who loved Duke, have rescue animals and just generally love animals of all kinds are having a fundraiser for Pound Rescue, in his name.

The event plan is for a silent auction, golf putting, door prizes, 50/50 and a live auction raffling off one week accommodation in Maui! There will also be a bar.

Do you know of a company that is looking to support a great cause? Any company that donates, we are happy to put up the company banner in the hall that night.

We have over 70 donations already!!!! Everything goes to Pound Rescue.

We are looking for an auctioneer, if anyone knows someone.

We need a sound system for the night and someone to monitor it.

We need an MC, if you or someone you know is particularly good at this.

It'd be great to have a comedian the night of? Anyone up for it?

If there was a show in town I'd ask for a walk-on. Soon I hope! Anything to do with a show is always good.

We also need volunteers the night of. It'd be a great night to get out and hang with a bunch of cool people in Okotoks. The dark starry night is beautiful out here!

If you think of anything that might make this night better,we're open to ideas.
