On Saturday afternoon, a 39-year-old man died in a hospital after his motorcycle was hit from behind by a car Saturday afternoon in St. Joseph de Beauce, about 300 kilometres east of Montreal. The accident happened about 2:50 p.m. on Route 173 southbound. The man was riding his motorcycle, in tandem with another motorcyclists. Both motorcycles were hit. The other driver wasn’t seriously hurt.
