A 41-year-old Port Colborne man is dead following a motorcycle crash at about 10 p. m. Tuesday.
Ontario Provincial Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash that occurred on Hwy. 58 at Windsor Terrace, about 200 metres north of Barrick Rd.
The motorcycle left the side of the road and hit a guard rail, said OPP Staff Sgt. Jan Idzenga.
"We're still in the process of investigating it," he said yesterday. "All we have right now is a single motor vehicle -- the motorcycle -- for some reason went into the guard rail. That's still being investigated as to reasons why that would have occurred."
Police are not releasing the name of the victim.
Niagara Emergency Medical Services paramedics took the man to Welland hospital, where he was pronounced dead. To read the rest of the article: http://beta.wellandtribune.ca/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=1526557
