On August 25, 2009 at 11:34am, police and ambulance were dispatched to a collision between a northbound motorcycle and an eastbound pick-up truck at the intersection of Highway 205 and 216 south of Grunthal, Manitoba.

43-year-old Ronald J Clements of Grunthal, driver of the motorcycle, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to St. Pierre Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The 79-year-old driver of the truck was treated at the scene and released.

Charges are pending.
