Three people injured in 16th Avenue crash
Two people on a motorcycle escaped serious injury after a crash with another vehicle just west of Calgary Olympic Park shortly after 7p.m. Tuesday.
The motorcycle was trying to switch lanes when a car hit the bike heading westbound on 16th Avenue near Stoney Trail.
Duty Inspector Vic Trickett tells 660News police were initially called to what appeared to be a serious collision.
"The injuries were reported as one person in critical condition and two others with serious injuries," he says. "Fortunately I can tell you that has since been upgraded. Nothing is life threatening or critical at this point." Read On:
