No rest for emergency responders on busy day
CALGARY — Emergency responders were kept busy Sunday with several serious collisions in and around the city, including a motorcycle crash west of the city and a vehicle rollover near Strathmore.
Paramedics were called to the westbound ramp of Highway 22 near the Springbank Airport around 1:45 p.m. after a motorcycle wiped out, said EMS spokesman Stuart Brideaux.
“A woman in her late 20s had somehow lost control of the motorcycle,” he said, adding she was the lone occupant and no one else was injured.
She was taken to Foothills Hospital in Calgary in serious but stable condition. READ ON
