LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas Metro police are investigating a wreck Tuesday night that left a motorcyclist in critical condition.
Police said Clinton Parker, 35, of British Columbia, Canada, was crossing the intersection from a stop sign about 7:45 p.m. at Warm Springs Road and Tenaya Way on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when a Chevrolet Blazer struck him on the left side.The motorcycle was knocked to the ground and was hit by an Isuzu Hombre, police said.
The motorcycle slid to a stop but Parker kept sliding until he hit a curb, police said.Parker, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to University Medical Center with critical injuries. The driver of the Chevy, Annette Lesko, 61, of Las Vegas, stayed at the scene, police said. The driver of the Isuzu, Enrico Cano, 54, of Las Vegas, was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
