An 18-year-old Surrey man has died from injuries he sustained when a car struck him as he was crossing Fraser Highway on May 22.
His death marks Surrey's fifth traffic fatality this year.
The man, whose name has not been released, was crossing the highway near Fleetwood Way when he was hit by a black 2005 Honda Civic. He wasn't crossing at a crosswalk.
He was taken to hospital, in critical condition. Police say speed and alcohol weren't factors in the crash.
