West Vancouver officer injured in stolen car incident

A West Vancouver motorcycle cop was taken to hospital after crashing his bike in an attempt to stay within view of stolen car on the Lions Gate Bridge.

The crash was not a result of any pursuit, West Vancouver police said, but rather an effort to “maintain visual continuity of the vehicle.”
