Man, 49, dies in motorcycle-van collision

MONTREAL – A 49-year-old man died on Monday after his motorcycle collided with a minivan in Quebec’s Bas St. Laurent region.

The vehicles were travelling in opposite directions along Route 132, when the van made a left turn cutting into the motorcycle’s path. The victim managed to avoid the oncoming minivan, but crashed into a trailer it was pulling, police said.
