Last week, I went to the Surrey courthouse where I attended the arraignment of RCMP Cpl. Monty Robinson, who is charged with obstruction of justice.

Robinson was involved in a motor-vehicle incident which caused the death of a young man by the name of Orion Hutchinson, who was riding his motorcycle at the time. The Delta police recommended Robinson be charged with drunk driving, as well as other charges. The Delta Police Department was overruled and the charges were reduced to obstruction of justice.
