Bradley Ray made it two out of two in the Monster Energy Motostar Championship after reigning champion Kyle Ryde suffered a technical fault with his Aprilia 125.
South African Jordan Weaving took the holeshot as pole setter Kyle Ryde moved backwards to fourth with Ray third. Ryde quickly moved his way up to second past Luke Hedger and then past Weaving into the lead. Ray followed shortly after but was left with a 1.5 second gap to close down. In just three laps he managed to do so and the lead changed positions on several occasions. The red flag was then brought out after an incident on the run down to the Club chicane. Ryde’s Aprilia then failed to restart in pit lane after a partial seizure and the reigning champion was left in tears. READ ON
