The local Harley Owners Group is going to the dogs.
HOG will host a charity poker run to benefit the National Service Dogs, which enhance the independence
of children and families
living with autism and special needs.
“All types of bikes are welcome,” said Frank Verville, director of the Northeast HOG Chapter.
Bikers will hit four checkpoints in South Porcupine, Cochrane, Iroquois Falls and Driftwood.
Then they will head back to where they started, the Howard Johnson Inn, for biker games including an obstacle course and other fun stuff.
The ride begins at 9 a.m., all hands must be turned in by 4:30 p.m.
“Whoever has the best cards will win half of the 50/50,” Verville said.
Local youngster Philippe Girouard, 8, and his family are helping to raise funds for the National Service Dogs.
