Police stop MotorcyclistsEven "Jock from Aberdeen" found his way to Waimate for the March Hare Motorcycle Rally this year – and he was not the only overseas visitor to the Waimate rally as eight motorcycle enthusiasts from Australia also took part in the event which is now in its 26th year.

March Hare Motorcycle Club president Craig Rowley said between 1500 and 1800 took part in the event held at the Waimate A&P Showgrounds. Mr Rowley estimated about 80 per cent of the visitors arrived on Friday and stayed both nights. READ ON
