Motorcycles account for about 2 percent of all registered motor vehicles in North Carolina, but they represent 12 percent of all traffic fatalities in the state. This is why Marines gathered to be a part of the Motorcycle Safety Awareness Kick-off Event aboard Marine Corps Auxiliary Landing Field Bogue, May 1.

At the beginning of the event, more than 400 Marines arrived to show off their bikes and skills during a safety course throughout the day. READ ON
