John Varvatos has teamed up with The Black Motorcycles to create a one-of-a-kind, custom fabricated 1980 CB750c Cafe Racer motorcycle. Working hand-in-hand, this creative collaboration set out to design a motorcycle combining the signature artistry and rock n’ roll style of John Varvatos with the expertise and craftsmanship of The Black Motorcycles. The JV Series 1000 model was specially crafted to help raise funds for the non-profit organization Road Recovery to reach 1000 at-risk teens through its outreach programs.

Road Recovery is dedicated to helping at-risk youth by harnessing the influence of entertainment industry professionals who have confronted similar crises and now wish to share their experience, knowledge and resources by collaborating with young people to create and present live-concert events and recording projects. Music professionals – executives, managers, techies, roadies, superstars, agents – including such entertainment notables as Slash, Denis Leary, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, and many more. Since 1998, Road Recovery has touched the lives of over 50,000 young people…and still counting!

The online auction of the motorcycle by Charitybuzz began June 5th and ends on July 10, 2014. Check out the video of the bike here.
