Megan Stanley’s mom had a surprise for her Saturday morning. Come on, she said, let’s go meet a former NASCAR driver.

The 13-year-old Coeur d’Alene girl looked awestruck when she found herself next to Kyle Petty, the 30-year Sprint Cup Series veteran. She got his autograph and had her photo taken with him near Independence Point.

“It was amazing! I love NASCAR,” said Stanley, who attends Woodland Middle School. “My favorites are Tony Stewart and Danica Patrick.” READ ON

They all share a love for motorcycles, there is a greater love that they share -- the opportunity to help their neighbors.

Russ Brown Motorcycle Lawyers are proud to be taking part in Ohio Bike Week, the Midwest's largestmotorcycle rally. Ohio Bike Week kicks off May 31st and runs through June 9th in Sandusky, Ohio.

Ohio Bike Week kicks off May 31st and runs through June 9th in Sandusky, Ohio. All access passes are already on sale online and include amazing concerts and events, including Queenryche, Skid Row,Charlie Daniels Band, and Jackyl. For 10 full days, motorcyclists and motorcycle enthusiasts will rumble through Northwest Ohio and experience an once-in-a-lifetime rally. Attendees will be able to attend poker runs, swap meets, and some incredible rides. Past rides have included a Marblehead Lake Erie Circle Tour and a Lighthouse Tour.

Ohio Bike Week will also include the All Harley Drag Racing Association Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. The event also includes motorcycle displays, ride-in bike shows, antique bike displays, motocross races, motorcycle parades, demo rides and rentals, biker games, and more. Other events include winery tours of Kelleys Island and Put-in-Bay Island and some fun family style attractions and events at the KOA campground.

Ohio Bike Week will conclude with a one-of-a-kind block party with free concerts, freestyle exhibitions, and amazing food.

Ohio Bike Week History

Ohio Bike Week wasn't always the large motorcycle event it is today. It originally started out as the North Coast Thunder Rally & Ohio State H.O.G. Rally in 1999. This fun three day block party has now grown to include more than 150,000 bikers and their families. In 2006, North Coast Thunder Rally was re-branded and planned around the dates for the AHDRA Ohio Bike Week Nationals. Thus, a legendary one-of-a-kind motorcycle week was born and has become the Midwest's Largest Motorcycle Rally.
