HAMPTON - - Police in Hampton are anxious to catch the man who was like a loose cannon on the main highway between Sussex and Hampton on the weekend. On his motorcycle, he tore away from police, left the scene of an accident he caused and reached speeds of over 200 kilometres an hour.
The Hampton RCMP was led on the wild chase when officers attempted to stop the motorcycle on Highway 1 just after 6:15 p.m. Friday evening. The motorcycle was heading down the road eastbound at excessive speeds doing a wheelie, said Cpl. Pat Cole, and gained police attention.
When police activated their emergency equipment, the male driver of the motorcycle increased his speed and sped away down the busy highway. To read the rest of hte article: http://telegraphjournal.canadaeast.com/city/article/1115678
