Re: Noise Snare that targets loud vehicles before council (SP, June 9). I congratulate Saskatoon for considering the Noise Snare as a solution to combat excessive noise.

As a person who has been fighting for equality in noise bylaws in Edmonton for more than two years, I see the snare as a viable and fair solution.

Motorcycle-only noise bylaws are a blatant form of discrimination. The majority of complaints in Edmonton were on vehicles other than motorcycles. In fact, there were only eight complaints made on motorcycles that resulted in the enactment of the bylaw. READ ON
