Three wild motorcycle riders are being investigated by Mounties after a trip between Vanderhoof and Prince George on May 15 that frightened other motorists.
"The motorcycles were reported to have been speeding," said Sgt. Pat McTiernan, commander of the RCMP's Fraser-Fort George Traffic Services. "Witnesses have come forward and indicated that the motorcycles were driving erratically and compromised other motorists travelling the highway."
Police attempted to pull them over at one point but they did not comply. They did stop for police at another attempt. Mounties are asking for more witnesses who might have observed the trio to come forward with information that might help the investigation.
Anyone who can provide such information is asked to call RCMP at 250-649-4004 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS / www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca. To read the original article:
