Larry Dennis Hardee, 63, of North Myrtle Beach, pleaded guilty to felony driving under the influence with death and Circuit Court Judge Edward Cottingham sentenced him to eight years in prison, said Jimmy Richardson, 15th Circuit Deputy Solicitor. Because of the charge, Hardee is not eligible for parole and he must serve at least 85 percent of the sentence.

The charge carries a sentence of a mandatory minimum of a year in prison to a maximum of 25 years, Richardson said. READ ON
