TAMPA - We've all been at an intersection, listening to the radio at a reasonable volume, when someone pulls up with their noise drowning out your music.
And it’s even when you have all your windows rolled up. Perhaps, though, you’re at home and the vibrations are so strong they're rocking your shelves and glassware.
Now, Hillsborough County commissioners are finally tackling noise control. They've drafted a new noise ordinance, which may soon give sheriff's deputies the power to silence that boom.
