The Vancouver Motorcycle Show posted one of the strongest attendance numbers -- 35,462 -- in the show's history.
As one of the largest motorcycle shows in Canada, the four-day event, held over last weekend at Tradex in Abbotsford, it is seen as a bellwether for the industry in general as well as consumer response to the trade-show season in B.C..
"There was great attendance at the show, more commitment to sales, more deposits taken -- everyone was very positive and we are delivering bikes already," said Gordon Aulenbach, of G.A. Checkpoint in Vancouver. "We have also sold more accessories than ever before."
