St Helens biker jailed for pillion passenger death

A SPEEDING motorcyclist from St Helens who killed his pillion passenger when he lost control of his bike was jailed.

Gary Keenan, 32, was driving an uninsured Kawasaki 750cc motorbike at 78mph in a 30mph zone when he crashed into a Renault Megane on June 19 last year.

Mark Lyon, 24, who was on the back of the bike and not wearing a helmet, was killed in the smash in North Road, St Helens. Keenan received serious injuries. READ ON
