Finks bikie was turning life around when he stole $400,000 Lamborghini

THE sergeant-at-arms for the Finks motorcycle gang had dropped all links with the group and was working as a dedicated community volunteer when he stole a $400,000 Lamborghini from a Port Melbourne dealership, a court has heard.

Richard Michail, 38, and 34-year-old Matthew Ward, were last month found guilty of the robbery of the canary yellow Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera from Lorbek Prestige Cars in May 2010.

As Ward waited outside the dealership Michail assaulted managing director Srecko Lorbek and demanded $50,000 before taking the vehicle and driving to the nearby Finks headquarters. READ ON
