Hello From Cape Breton

It seems quite early to be thinking about Motorcycle trips this summer... but a lot of people are planning a rip around the Cabot Trail this year. My website is seeing about double the amount of traffic compared to this time last year. Funny enough, it spiked around Christmas - making me wonder if some folks got motorcycles under the tree!

I’ve included a picture of South Mountain from this morning. The Cape Breton Highlands aren’t getting as much snow as they’d like for all the folks that enjoy sledding, snow shoeing and skiing.

The current highway photos on the Cabot Trail can be found on my newest addition to the website. My new page, http:// cabottrailbiker.com/live-cabottrail- road-construction-map/ , Shows a map of the Cabot Trail. It features up to the hour road conditions, and pylons indicate construction. A barrel type pylon indicates a larger project (longer waits). This should be a helpful tool to all of those planning to visit the Trail this summer. ...and, just for fun, you can check on the road conditions anytime you want. I will be checking the highway cams in late April to see any early bikers...You know our groundhog in NS, Shubenacadie Sam, did NOT see his shadow so it would appear that spring is right around the corner!

A lot of you I’ve never met and a few of you are now close friends. I can’t believe how much this site, and buying my motorcycle, made my life so much more fun. So be thankful that you ride, cause you’re way better off than those who don’t :)
