As safety training wanes, motorcycle crashes have moved once again into the lead of off-duty Marine deaths Corps-wide. The Department of the Navy is seeking a return to a few years ago when safety awareness was at its height and motorcycle deaths were more than half of what they had been.
Rear Adm. Brian Prindle, commander at the Navy Safety Center in Norfolk, Va., spoke frankly Monday at Marston Pavilion to about 100 Marines and sailors representing area commands.
