MACON — It’s probably a blessing that Don Koehler doesn’t remember the impact.
What he’s been told by other people is that he was traveling north on U.S. 51 in Macon riding his motorcycle on Sept. 30 when a man in a company truck failed to completely stop at an intersection before pulling out onto the highway.
Koehler must have tried to stop, because there was a long skid mark on the highway. But he slammed into the side of the truck anyway, leaving what he described, after seeing it later, as a dent shaped exactly like him and his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. READ ON
