Night riders to the rescue: Volunteers help to deliver vital blood supplies by bike

Bikers have set up a ‘night rider’ blood delivery service which could help save lives. Blood Bikes Manchester will see volunteers ride through the night to make sure emergency medical supplies such as blood and platelets are delivered to hospitals in the nick of time. The charity is a first for the North West and has been set up by Paul ‘Red’ Redfern, president of the Rising Moon Motorcycle Club in Hyde.
