City explores enacting noise bylaw for cars and motorcycles

Report will examine how a noise bylaw can be enforced for both cars and motorcycles

The city and the Saskatoon Police Service are working together to draft a report which will examine how other Canadian cities are regulating “excess" car and motorcycle noise.

The noise issue is a perennial concern that needs to be dealt with, said Councillor Randy Donauer. 

“Every spring and summer we have vehicles and motorcycles that, in reasonable neighbourhoods, are causing excess noise,” he said.  READ ON
