DAYTONA BEACH -- For 70 years, motorcycles have been rolling over Halifax River bridges and heading for Main Street biker parties.

The road that stretches from the river to the ocean has seen everything from a smattering of motorcyclists in 1950s rolled-up jeans to leather-clad Hell's Angels mixing into the crowd that used to pack every square inch of the narrow thoroughfare.
