City grants rally $10K

The Great Canadian Bike Rally will receive another $10,000 gold-level sponsorship from the City of Merritt this year, but not all of that support will necessarily come in cash. 

Council voted to grant the rally's request Tuesday. 

Coun. Mike Goetz said events require time and help before they are profitable and independent. “I think we need to support this as we have done others.” READ ON
