Toys and motorcycles might seem like an odd combination, but on Saturday, June 11, they'll make perfect sense.

That's the day of the Fredericton Motorcycle Club's 27th annual Toy Ride, when the group collects toys and money to donate to the Child Life Unit at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.

"It's been a really good experience for us and for them," said George Andrews, vice-president of the Fredericton Motorcycle Club and chair of the 2011 Toy Ride.

Many of the donations come in on the day of the ride, which goes rain or shine, but people are welcome to donate directly to the hospital as well.
