The MAC Rally of Hope rolled into St. John's after a cross country motorcycle tour that began in BC earlier this month. It's a project of the Mortgage Alliance Company of Canada, and spokesman Michael Beckette indicates the inspiration for the ride came after they learned a fellow co-worker has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
He says they wanted to use their talents with motorcycles to help raise awareness for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Beckette says that throughout the whole journey people were incredibly supportive.
