For those looking for a bit of fun a quick ride away, don't forget the Pictou Lobster Carnival this weekend Fri-Sun. There will be a parade, fireworks, lobster suppers, bed races, lobster boat races, Matt Minglewood concert & much more. Maybe we'll see you there on Saturday...
In Cape Breton there is a Festival on Janvrin Island - Wed-Sun, Firefighter Fun Days in Margaree - Thurs-Sun, Come Home Days in Glendale - Sat & Sun; & a Strawberry Festival in Johnstone on Sat.
On the Eastern Shore Sherbrooke Village is hosting Gaelic/Scottish Heritage Days on Sat & Sun, and Mulgrave celebrates Scotia Days from Sat to the 15th.
Down the Annapolis Valley it's the Cherry Festival in Aylesford - Fri-Sat.
In Halifax the NS International Tattoo ends on Sunday & the Halifax to St. Pierre Ocean Race departs the harbour. The Halifax Jazz Festival runs till the 14th and in Dartmouth the Maritime Fiddle Festival is taking place Thurs-Sun.
