Matt Alloway is organizing a motorcycle rally on Saturday, June 18 on behalf of Kevin Mills, who was paralyzed in 2009 while in Cuba with his wife and son. At the time, Mills, in his late 20s, was a paramedic for Toronto EMS.
Mills’ initial prognosis was poor. He was told he would only be able to control an electric wheelchair with his head. Today, Kevin is pushing a manual chair with power assist wheels, which increases his strength. All of his therapies have helped him improve from the initial diagnosis to a manual chair.
