The Heart Defects Society of Windsor and Essex County presents this motorcycle ride to raise awareness of the impact that congenital heart defects have on members of our community and to raise funds for the organization to assist those affected. Christine Sorrell was a St. Clair College student and a healthy young woman who passed away in Oct. 2005 due to a previously undiagnosed congenital heart defect. The event is Sunday, Sept. 18. Registration begins at 9 a.m. The motorcycle ride leaves the CAW Local 200/444 Hall, 1855 Turner Rd. at 10 a.m. There are five stops including: Mr. Biggs in Belle River; Waterfront Bar and Grill in Leamington; The Meadows in Harrow; Shooters in Amherstburg; and Teutonia Club in Windsor.
