Weather is forecast to be sunny on Friday, July 13th, with seasonal temperatures: a great day for a ride.
 
Highway 6 Construction Update: The company that is working on the rehabilitation of Highway 6 between Jarvis and Port Dover guarantees there will be no construction work on July 13, 14 and 15, and that there will be no gravel in the construction zone.

If you would like to avoid the construction zone, we recommend that you follow the alternate route outlined in this image and in the Visitor Info -> Maps and Directionssection of our website.
 
There will be no construction and no gravel on July 13, 14 and 15, but if you return later this summer, please take the alternate route.

The Port Dover Board of Trade advises that Chapman Street will again be closed from Main Street to St. George Street to accommodate food vendors. There will be tables between vendors for everyone’s convenience. More about food here.
 
Please support our local restaurants and shops, as well as various community organizations that will be raising funds in Port Dover on Friday the 13th.

Access to Port Dover
Port Dover is closed to car traffic on Friday the 13th butmotorcycles are free to enter and park
 
Car Parking / Shuttles
Parking for cars in designated areas costs $10 person to a maximum of $40 per vehicle. Youth under 16 are free. Unlimited shuttle service in and out of town. More details on the Parking and Shuttlespage of pd13.com. There is a link to a map (see left) of road closures at www.norfolktourism.ca/pd13. Proceeds from parking lot revenue for July 13 will be donated to Cystic Fibrosis Canada (from the East lot) and The Norfolk Rebels and Port Dover Composite School Drama Club (from the West lot).
 
Accommodation
Chances are all of our accommodations are booked up for Friday the 13th, but please come back and stay longer another time. OurOntario's South Coast partners (tourism offices in Haldimand County, Elgin County, Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex-Pelee) can provide you with accommodation info in their communities.
