As they ride their 1300cc Yamaha Venture motorcycle across Ontario on their Lungevity Tour over the next month, COPD sufferers Bruce Eyre and Brenda Cunningham have one overriding message for everyone with whom they come into contact: if you are short of breath, get tested.

COPD – chronic obstructive pulmonary disease – includes emphysema, which Cunningham has, and chronic bronchitis, the condition that afflicts Eyre. COPD affects 780,000 people in Ontario and is the leading cause of death in the province. READ ON
