Pat Burns died last November, but his spirit lives on at the annual Procure Father's Day weekend to raise awareness of prostate cancer.

"Everyone knows Pat loved motorcycles and we're pleased to add the Pat Burns Ride of Courage to the weekend activities," veteran sportscaster and Procure cofounder Jean Pagé said.

The ride on Saturday, June 18, will bring together as many as 2,000 motorcyclists from all parts of Quebec. They will gather in Ste. Foy and parade through the streets of Vieux Québec before gathering on the Plains of Abraham for a picnic and entertainment, led by troubadour Bob Walsh. Pat's widow, Line Burns, and former Quebec Nordiques owner Marcel Aubut are the honourary cochairs of the event.
