Although sales continued to fall, the parent company of Victory Motorcycles still improved on their net profit compared to the year before.
But Victory rode the bumpy economic road with the division realizing the largest fall in sales out of the four owned by Polaris Industries. The number of on-road Victory Motorcycles sold in 2009 fell 44% compared to the year before, with slightly less than 53,000 riding off the showroom floor.
