CORNWALL – Kellee Irwin has her "princess" moments but mostly enjoys playing with oil and motorcycle parts.
After living around motorcycles her whole life, it only seemed fitting that she take the position as chairwoman of the Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada for the next two years.

PETALING JAYA, Malaysia - Her passion for speed and adventure has led television personality Maznah Zolkifli to venture into racing and riding superbikes.
Maznah, 37, who is the first woman president of the Kuala Lumpur Biker's Club, was among 300 bikers who travelled in a convoy from the Malaysia Tourism Centre in Kuala Lumpur to the Naza Automall here in conjunction with the Kuala Lumpur Bike Week 2011.
"I was discouraged by my family members from joining extreme sports.

WHAT: The fifth annual Harley-Davidson Muscular Dystrophy Association Women's Ride will be in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Tuesday, March 13. Since its inception, the annual ride has raised awareness and more than $179,000 to support MDA Summer Camps and MDA programs around the country.
To be eligible to participate, riders must make a minimum contribution of $25 to MDA by March 13, 2012. Riders who collect more contributions will be eligible for special recognition and prizes. All riders who contribute $600 or more will receive a limited-edition Harley-Davidson MDA Women's Ride sterling silver charm.

When Madeleine Marques was 12, she and her parents were making a pit-stop at a gas station on the way back from a family trip to Florida. The two-day drive had been boring, and when her parents went inside to the convenience store, she slumped down in the back seat.
“Then I heard distant thunder,” Marques remembers. But it wasn't a storm – it was a pack of bikers pulling into the gas station. At the front, a woman led the group. Motorcycle racer and team owner Valerie Thompson has been named the co-recipient of the 2011 American Woman Riders Community Hero Award by the American Woman Riders Association. Thompson's racing accomplishments and community support of the HopeKids children's charity were key criteria for award selection.
